Norski Soccer Club Fall Bash 2023 Managers Checklist

 

Prior to Tournament: 

  • Digital Player Waivers are required for Tournament play.  Hard copy waivers at registration will not be accepted.  

  • When a player is added to the digital roster on the TeamSnap Tournament account, an email will be sent to the player contact requesting an invite to the team.  Accepting the invite and completing the digital waiver will move the player to the active roster.  All approved players will show on your active roster and will be your TeamSnap Approved digital roster for the tournament.  

  • The online digital roster is required to be submitted in the TeamSnap Tournament portal before the close of registration on September 25, 2022. Failure to do so will limit your team to those on the active roster printed at that time.  Please note that the players will need to be invited with time to accept the invite and complete the digital waiver requirements prior to the registration deadline.  The team manager or user that registered your team will need to log in at https://events.teamsnap.com and follow the instructions to update your roster: http://help.me.teamsnap.com/article/436-manage-tournament-team-roster

    • Please note that the TeamSnap Tournaments log-in is different than the TeamSnap Team account.  Make sure you are logging into https://events.teamsnap.com.  You will need to create a separate user account. 

  • Encourage parents/participants to download the TeamSnap tournaments app on their mobile device to stay current with tournament reminders and communication and also to visit the Windy Linde Fall Bash Tournament website page for additional information.  

 

Onsite Check-in:

  • Please check in for the tournament at the Main Tent at least one (1) hour before your first game of the tournament.  Registration will open at 7:30 am on Saturday morning.  

  • If any players on your team have a cast, please allow additional time for check-in.  The player with the cast will be required to check in at the Referee tent with their cast form and their Player Card.  For more details, please see the rules for Playing with a Cast.  

  • For Check in you will need the following:

    • An Official Copy of your WYSA (or other State) team roster(s).  This will be kept with the tournament registration coordinator.  If you have more than one official roster, please be sure to mark (highlight) the approved players from each roster.  The State Affiliate official roster will be compared to the Approved TeamSnap digital roster.  Reminder: only players on the Approved TeamSnap digital roster will be allowed to play.  

    • All players will need to have completed the Medical Waiver and appear “Active” on the digital team roster.  

    • Approved Guest Player form from  any player(s) that are from outside of your home club.  

    • Permission to travel form for any out-of-state teams only.  This form can be obtained from your state soccer association.  

    • 13U and older teams that have greater than 18 players and 11U & 12U teams that have greater than 16 players on their TeamSnap approved digital roster will need to check-in prior to every game to confirm which players will be playing in the next scheduled game.  

 

Additional Tournament Information to share with Families: 

 NSC will be providing Concessions at Windsor Sports Commons for the entire Tournament including: hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, drinks & candy. Cash or Card payments are accepted.

       Kona Ice will be onsite Saturday & Sunday

       Coffee Truck will be onsite Sunday

 

Game Times:

In order to keep games on schedule, please arrive at each field at least 25 minutes prior to game time to allow time for the field marshall to check-in your team.  

 

Pre-game Warm-ups:

There is to be no warming up in the goalie areas of the field.  Depending on field conditions, players may be asked to avoid warming up on any area of the game fields.  

 

TeamSnap Tournament App - Communications, Schedules and Scores:

 

TeamSnap will be the primary platform for tournament communications.  All coaches, managers, and parents/participants are strongly encouraged to download the app on their mobile device and enable notifications to ensure that they are receiving the most current communion related to  anything tournament.  

 

Pets:

There will be no pets allowed on any of the field locations during the tournament. Violators may be asked to leave the tournament grounds until you can make arrangements to remove your pet(s) from the facilities.  

 

Parking:

Parking is limited at the WSC, please be sure to park only in the marked areas.  There will be off site parking at the Deforest High School- (Near the tennis courts)  A shuttle will be provided and will run on a continuous loop between DAHS and WSC.
